American Express Card Agreement
The agreements filed contain general conditions, prices and information on fees. They are not specific to someone`s account information. The drop-down list contains credit card issuers that have submitted credit card agreements under section 204 of the Credit Card Accountability Responsibility and Disclosure Act 2009 (CARD Act). If you cannot find a card issuer, purchase protection may be provided by AMEX Assurance Company, Administrative Office, Phoenix, AZ in accordance with Policy AX0951, Policy AX0951-PR, Policy AX0951-VI, or Policy PP-IND. For residents of GU and MP, the plan is signed by Tokyo Marine Pacific Insurance Limited, Hagatna, Guam, under the CRCB000000110 policy. This benefit is not available to residents of American Samoa, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Marshall Islands, Palau and the Minor Outlying Islands of the United States. Coverage is subject to the terms, conditions and exclusions of policies applicable to your card and is subject to change with notice. This document does not supplement or replace the Directive. Shipping and handling charges for the purchase will not be refunded. Some purchases are not covered, e.B consumables and perishable items, motor vehicles and their parts or accessories, or normal wear and tear. Other important exclusions apply. You will only receive the amount charged to your eligible card. Coverage is limited per event and per card member account per calendar year.

Due to system or administrative issues, agreements with merchants or other business reasons, we may treat certain purchases and/or cash access transactions (collective fees) as not subject to such restrictions, but we are not obliged to do so. You agree to pay all fees, whether or not the fees exceed a limit, and you agree that we will not be liable to you or any other person if a limit is not applied to the fees and/or if fees are incurred and charged that exceed a limit. While we generally require merchants to obtain authorization for purchases and submit final transaction documentation in a timely manner for payment, a limit may not apply or may be exceeded if a merchant does not receive authorization for any reason. when a merchant receives an authorization for a portion of the final fees submitted to us for payment; or if such submissions are not submitted or processed at the same time as approval is obtained. Examples: fees charged outside the United States, in duty-free shops, or on board airplanes or cruise ships; Purchase of international airline tickets; vehicle rental; Nights extended beyond the initial booking period; certain mail order purchases; Purchases invoiced on a recurring basis; purchases at petrol stations; telecommunications charges, including charges for telephone cards; taxi fares; deposits; Delay, damage or other costs related to the rental; Purchases invoiced in instalments; restaurant and other advice; and fees that apply before the end of the billing period if the charges are accounted for after the closing date of that billing period.
There will be no cap on foreign currency charges or traveller`s cheques or gift vouchers received from us by any means other than by telephone. If none of these reasons apply and you still can`t agree, call them to ask for a copy of your agreement. Under federal law, your credit card issuer is required to provide a copy of your agreement upon request. Check the back of the credit card or on your last monthly statement to find the name of the issuer. The bank, retailer or other entity whose name appears on the front of the card may not be the actual issuer of the card. You can also check out the exhibitor`s website. As a rule, the name of the bank is indicated at the bottom of the issuer`s home page. Find instructions, your rights regarding your creditworthiness and credit card protection. We will refer your issue to your credit card company, give you a tracking number, and keep you informed of the status of your complaint. The Card Act is often referred to as the Charter of Rights for Credit Card Holders. President Obama signed the bill in May 2009. Many of the most important provisions of the Act came into force in February 2010. Additional card members do not have an account with us, but they can use your account in accordance with the terms of the card membership agreement. If you ask us to apply a limit as described below to the fees incurred by an additional card member in your account, you agree to these Terms. These Terms supplement and are incorporated by reference into the terms of your Card Membership Agreement. You can also request a copy by calling the number on the back of your card. The spending limit for the additional card member(s) is optional. If no spending limit is set for the additional card, the spending capacity of that card is subject to the terms and conditions of the base cardholder`s account. Upon your request, we may agree to apply a limit during each billing period on the total amount of dollar purchases charged to card numbers associated with one or more additional card members specified in your account. Upon your request, we may agree to apply a limit to the total amount of ATM cash access transactions made using card numbers associated with one or more additional card members specified in your account during each billing period. If we agree to apply a limit, this does not guarantee that the additional card member will be able to make purchases or cash access transactions up to the applicable limit. When applying a limit, we do not take into account (e.B credits. for returned goods or for payments), even if a credit refers to an additional card member`s purchase.
Any request to change a limit may not be effective until later than a subsequent billing period. Any charges (as defined below) incurred by the additional cardholder prior to the date during a billing period to which we apply the limit are not subject to the limit for that billing period. During the specified sales period, tickets are available exclusively to all Members of the American Express® Card. Tickets must be purchased with an American Express card. Regular service fees apply. Offer subject to availability. Not all seats are available and blackout dates apply. All sales are final. No refunds. No exchange. Offer may be changed or revoked at any time at American Express` sole discretion.
Some events may not be accessible to cardholders with disabilities.
